Sparrow

During my third year of college, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from the renowned Robert Smikal, who affectionately refers to himself as "The Austrian Salvador Dali." His guidance was invaluable, helping me ensure the form of my paintings was accurate while also sharing tips and tricks for achieving a more realistic drawing.

One of the key themes in my work was the sparrow, a symbol of joy, protection, and community. This humble bird represents the beauty of everyday moments and the importance of finding inspiration in the ordinary. Robert’s teachings, combined with the sparrow’s significance, encouraged me to embrace both precision and creativity in my art.
